1. Acceptance of Terms

By using RepairSnap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

RepairSnap is an AI-powered car repair cost estimator. You upload photos of vehicle damage and provide basic vehicle information. The Service uses computer vision (OpenAI GPT-4o) to detect damage and an AI model (Anthropic Claude) combined with real market data to generate an itemized repair cost estimate. Estimates are generated for informational purposes only.

3. Estimates Are Not Quotes

RepairSnap estimates are not binding quotes, professional appraisals, or insurance claims. Actual repair costs may vary significantly based on:

  • Hidden damage discovered during disassembly
  • Specific body shop pricing and practices
  • Parts availability and sourcing
  • Regional market conditions and labor rate fluctuations
  • Vehicle condition, mileage, and modification history

Always obtain an in-person inspection and written estimate from a licensed auto body shop before authorizing any repairs.

4. Plans and Usage Limits

Free Tier

  • 1 free estimate (lifetime, web only)
  • Estimates expire and are deleted after 24 hours
  • Basic PDF export
  • No account required for basic use; account required for estimate history

Credit Packs (never expire)

  • 5 credits for $4.99 ($1.00 per estimate)
  • 10 credits for $8.99 ($0.90 per estimate)
  • 25 credits for $19.99 ($0.80 per estimate)

Monthly Subscription ($25/month)

  • 50 estimates per month, $0.50 per estimate overage
  • 30-day estimate history
  • Priority AI processing
  • Unlimited PDF downloads (standard and insurance format)
  • ADAS calibration data and OEM vs aftermarket comparison
  • Full API access

Business Subscription ($100/month)

  • 250 estimates per month, $0.40 per estimate overage
  • All Monthly features plus white-label embed

Enterprise

We reserve the right to modify plans, pricing, and usage limits. Active subscribers will be notified of changes before they take effect.

5. Accounts and Billing

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from Settings > Subscription & Billing.
  • Upon cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact hello@repairsnap.cc for billing issues.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently deletes your account, estimate history, and cancels any active subscription.

6. User Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate vehicle information for reliable estimates.
  • You must only upload photos of vehicles you own or have permission to photograph.
  • You must not use the Service for fraudulent insurance claims or misrepresentation.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service.
  • You must not use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service without permission.

7. Data and Market Information

RepairSnap estimates are generated using a combination of:

  • AI-powered damage detection from your uploaded photos
  • Vehicle-specific repair cost databases (39 vehicle models)
  • State-specific labor rate surveys (51 states, from 4,000+ body shop surveys)
  • OEM and aftermarket parts pricing catalogs
  • ADAS calibration cost matrices by make and sensor system
  • Insurance claim frequency and severity benchmarks

Market data is updated periodically. While we strive for accuracy, data may not reflect real-time pricing changes in your specific area.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its market data, AI pipeline, design, and branding, is owned by RepairSnap. You retain ownership of photos you upload. By uploading a photo, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process it for estimate generation. This license expires when the estimate is deleted.

9. Limitation of Liability

RepairSnap is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Reliance on estimate accuracy for repair decisions
  • Discrepancy between estimated and actual repair costs
  • Decisions made based on our estimates in negotiations with body shops or insurance companies
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or processing errors

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
